CFR REGTalks Series
While getting together for the 2020 CFR Regulatory Conference won’t be possible this year, the CFR is deconstructing our conference programme and exploring a broad range of new topics to bring you the new REGTalks Series. This is a virtual learning series designed to keep you informed on the latest happenings and lessons learned in the regulatory world. It will feature both Canadian and international content — and will be your way to explore new and alternative ways of working!
CFR Regulatory Conference
The CFR Regulatory Conference is a national forum for regulatory professionals working in the public sector. It brings together speakers and participants from across the regulatory lifecycle and provides opportunities for expanding knowledge, sharing information, and growing regulatory networks. This event is open to public servants from the federal, provincial, and territorial governments, and academics and think tanks working and interested in modernizing regulatory systems in the country.


CFR Regulatory Speaker Series
The CFR Regulatory Speaker Series features presentations by regulatory experts on a variety of topics. It represents a great vehicle to showcase organizational regulatory best practices.

CFR Federal Regulatory Law Enforcement Symposium
The CFR Federal Regulatory Law Enforcement Symposium is an opportunity to gather intelligence on how other departments are working through their regulatory enforcement challenges.

CFR Regulatory Excellence Awards

Nymark Lecture Series
The Nymark Lecture Series is an annual event created by the University of Ottawa and Carleton University's Certificate Program in Regulatory Leadership (CPRL) in partnership with the CFR as a thought leadership event. The annual event features guest lecturers who explore various topics of interest in regulatory affairs.

Specialty Workshops
CFR Specialty Workshops provide members with an opportunity to increase their knowledge and share best practices on various topics of interest to the regulatory community.

Let's Talk
“Let’s Talk” are small-scale informal learning events designed to facilitate inter-departmental dialogue and exchange. They provide an ideal opportunity to network, explore innovations, and participate in constructive open dialogue.
