COVID19
ALL CLASSES ARE CANCELLED DUE TO COVID19!
As relayed in emails from DMs, "We are aware of this afternoon’s update from Dr. Tam and more recently the new guidelines from Ottawa’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Vera Etches who has advised there is a need for greater social-distancing and limiting all non-essential trips out of the home. As a result, we are writing to advise that no NRCan staff, regardless of location, is to come in to work tomorrow, Monday, March 16, with the exception of those supporting critical services. Please make arrangements to pick up any required material or equipment from the office tomorrow at your convenience." Please take care of yourselves and others. Below are links to resources. |

This free yoga and fitness program is offered for free for Government of Canada employees. Appropriate for beginners as well as those with ongoing practice. Bring your own yoga mat, water bottle, and comfortable clothing.
Classes take place in the basement of 560 Rochester Room 029 from 12:00-12:45 however, in the summer, if the weather is nice and the temperature is above 18 degrees, classes are held outside in the Commissioner's park across Carling avenue unless otherwise stated on this page. See map below. Classes take place as per schedule unless cancelled. A notice will appear here if this is the case. Ce programme de yoga et fitness est offert gratuitement aux employés du gouvernement du Canada. Convient autant aux débutants qu'aux habitués. Il faut apporter son propre tapis de yoga, sa bouteille d'eau et des vêtements confortables.
Les cours ont lieu au sous-sol du 560 Rochester dans la salle 029 de midi à 12h45. Parcontre, l'été, s'il fait beau et que la température est au dela de 18 degrés, les cours ont lieu dehors au parc des Commissionaires de l'autre côté de Carling, sauf avis contraire sur cette page. Tous les cours ont lieu selon l'horaire sauf si annulés. Une notice apparaitra ici pour vous en informer.
