== Purpose ==
 +
The initiative's main purpose is to encourage the proliferation of new ideas through creative mediums, as this allows for more qualitative information including feelings, experiences, fictional simulations, thought experiments, and other aspects of creative expression. It also offers more intrinsic benefits to members looking to develop their creative writing skills, participate in resulting discussions, provide feedback on others' works, and publish their creative pieces in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

There are no length or structure requirements, leaving lots of opportunity for creativity. Group members have produced short stories, poems, creative non-fiction, and on the [[GCcollab]] group, even a video montage to express a member's view of an abstract concept. On April 30, 2018, the first audio narration was created for one of the group's works.
