Purpose: To initiate a conversation on pain points related to product approvals and opportunities to address these barriers. Facilitator(s): Linsey Hollett, ADM, Regulatory Operations and Enforcement Branch, Health Canada Overview: HC to set the stage and facilitate a conversation on the challenges stakeholders experience bringing products to market. HC’s stage setting to include information on working with other countries to conduct joint reviews or mutually recognize assessments, as well as the use of regulatory sandboxes to allow for safe and effective approvals of innovative products. Breakout Room 3: Reducing barriers to business productivity (FR) Purpose: To initiate a discussion on regulatory challenges and red tape that hinder productivity and solutions addressing these challenges.
