Priyanka Sharma (Elle/She/Her), is a Senior Human Resources Advisor for the Corporate HR Planning and Integration team at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and is also the co-chair of [[GCStudents - ÉtudiantsGC|GC Students]] under the [[Federal Youth Network|Federal Youth Network (FYN)]]. At IRCC she works on the student initiatives file to support students with their onboarding, retention and advancement. 
 
  
Priyanka joined the Federal Public Service as a student in 2019 and bridged into a full time position in 2020. She began her career at National Defence (DND) where she had the opportunity to develop and support the Student Onboarding Program. In mid 2021 she moved over to ESDC and with her passion for recruitment and advancement of students, she has continued to work with student onboarding. In June 2023 she continued to support students at IRCC. As of April 2024 Priyanka continues to support students across the GC with her role in GC Students as well as works towards supporting IRCC in HR Planning and Integration. On her spare time, she loves to bake desserts and pastries, watch movies and go on outdoor adventures (in the summer).

From 2020 to 2023, she worked at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) as a student worker, casual worker and public servant. In 2023, she joined a small Government of Canada (GC) organization for one year, where she had the opportunity to work on EDI, accessibility, human resources planning and official languages.She was Co-Chair of GC Students under the [[Federal Youth Network|Federal Youth Network (FYN)]] from 2021 to 2023. With her motivation, creativity and commitment, she reestablished the student network by promoting interdepartmental collaboration and equal access to resources for all students.
