This <u>'''questionnaire'''</u> is intended to create an '''inventory of candidates for casual positions in Access to Information and Privacy''' (ATIP) for institutions pursuant to the [https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/a-1/ Access to Information Act] and the [https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/p-21/FullText.html Privacy Act]

'''Only applicants with demonstrated experience in ATIP or a solid related training will be considered for inclusion in this inventory.'''

[[Image:CHRT.png|110px|left]]<p>The Canadian Human Rights Tribunal is similar to a court of law but is less formal and only hears cases relating to discrimination; it decides whether a person or organization has engaged in a discriminatory practice under the ''Canadian Human Rights Act''. If the answer is yes, the Tribunal decides how to compensate the victim and how to prevent similar cases of discrimination in the future. </p>The Act states that all Canadians have the right to equality, equal opportunity, fair treatment, and an environment free of discrimination. The Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) Community plays a key role in the management and delivery of access to information and privacy programs across government including legislative and policy compliance and reporting to Parliament on the operation of the Access to Information Act and Privacy Act.
This GCwiki site supports the ATIP community and those leading in proactive publication requirements in the administration of the Acts by offering reference documents and information on the latest developments related to ATIP for federal institutions.

APCDO Casual ATIP Inventory

DISCLAIMER

This questionnaire is intended to create an inventory of candidates for casual positions in Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) for institutions pursuant to the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act.

As experience taught us, there are a lot of situations when an institution would receive an unexpected additional influx of ATIP requests, or other similar situations, that would require additional support. We hope this inventory will help lighten those high-pressure circumstances.

Only applicants with demonstrated experience in ATIP or a solid related training will be considered for inclusion in this inventory.

Applications without relevant ATIP experience or training will not be considered or retained.

For more information about Casual Workers: Casual Worker Other information:

Please complete the following questionnaire to help us assess your suitability for casual employment opportunities in ATIP roles. You will receive an email with a link which will allow you to change your answers in the future. We invite you to keep that email. For the moment, we intend to follow up with candidates to request updates every six (6) months and to keep this inventory open until March 31, 2027.
