Welcome to the CCIDC Refining Strategic Data Management page CCIDC has begun and initiative to improve the Performance Measurement reporting environment by: Eliminating requests for data entry that has already been entered in another report. Making data collection for reports as transparent as possible for those producing the data in spreadsheets tracking their work. Simplify the management of common drive space by eliminating the need to store performance management reports, data and ancillary information about the system. Working with the Data Hub team, create a searchable collection of all of the performance measurement KPIs with sufficient metadata to aid analysts and others who wish to expand the reporting paradigm. Working with the Data Hub team, create controls for the common drives. Ensure sufficient business rules are in place to reduce the vulnerability of data staging and retrieve to the activities of non-performance reporting initiative requiring the same resources. To gather improvement ideas from the Centre's staff and other interested parties in the form of User Stories. To establish a SCRUM methodology capable of producing a modest number of spreadsheet code updates per week to implement the improvement ideas and enable a continuous improvement paradigm in the Centre. To enable the staff to perform software development using high-reputation methodologies with a proven track record for continuous improvement in non-IT environments.

This is the opportunity for the Centre to take control of their future by taking on software improvement roles.
