Looking for people to test the card component in AEM. Reach out to Principal Publisher if you’d like to test it.

Question from Kayla: I got an email last week from Principle publisher saying the piloted GCDS Card component cannot be used inside an AEM Generic HTML component ... while our web team can technically do it, they mentioned taking content out of the generic HTML component makes it harder to update the page going forward. I took this to mean we can't use the cards component yet ...  

Yes exactly, in order to use it you must use the drag and drop AEM component named "Card container" and then you can drag additional "Card" component into that container.

It can not be used inside a Generic HTML content because we are only loading the GCDS libraries on pages that use the Card container component.

NRCan has recently migrated to Drupal 10 and as a result our URLs have been updated.

Should you have any pages linking to NRCan content you can use the page number to locate the new URL.

For instance, a previous URL would look like:

https://natural-resources.canada.ca/minerals-mining/mining-data-statistics-and-analysis/minerals-metals-facts/aluminum-facts/20510

After the domain replace the remaining URL with /node/#

https://natural-resources.canada.ca/node/20510

And the result will generate the following URL:

https://natural-resources.canada.ca/minerals-mining/mining-data-statistics-analysis/minerals-metals-facts/aluminum-facts

RNCan vient de migrer vers Drupal 10 conséquemment nous avons mise à jour tous nos URLs.

Notez bien les instructions en français sont différentes

Si vous avez des pages liées au site RNCan vous pouvez utiliser le numéro de page afin de trouver le nouvel URL.

Suivez l’exemple de la version anglaise et ensuite naviguer vers la page en français. Les numéros de pages utilisés sont les numéros sur la version anglaise donc utiliser ces identifiants ne vous redirige pas vers la page anticipée.

Par exemple, un URL antérieur ressemblait à :

https://ressources-naturelles.canada.ca/science-et-donnees/donnees-et-analyse/inventaire-des-grands-projets/22219

Le nouvel identifiant de cette page est 22218 donc utilisez la méthode de repérer la page en anglais afin de trouver le bon URL français.
