Qː Why was this removed?

A: This is part of our audit, we asked people in the community about various components, and by consensus this was picked as one to remove. Also, most browsers have this functionality, so the actual functionality is not being lost.

Additionally, managing all of the different social media icons was proving to be cumbersome.
