Career Corner: CFR Talent Management Initiatives

The CFR has a number of initiatives aimed at attracting, retaining and supporting federal regulatory professionals. Here are a few of the initiatives that were launched with the goal of supporting the development and delivery of core regulatory training, as well as supporting the development of regulatory competencies and skillsets.

Introduction to Drafting Instructions
The Introduction to Drafting Instructions sessions aim to provide a basic knowledge of the process and tools required when developing drafting instructions to work effectively with Legal and Legislative Services.

“Orientation to Regulation” Course at Algonquin College
The “Orientation to Regulation” course offered through Algonquin College aims to provide participants with a strong understanding of WHY, WHAT and HOW government regulates and the role regulation plays in advancing the public interest.
