Chaque année, nous rendons hommage au riche patrimoine linguistique du Canada lors de la Journée des langues officielles (anciennement appelée Journée de la dualité linguistique). Cette année, l'évènement souligne l'importance des langues officielles du Canada dans le façonnement de l'identité de la société et dans la création de relations avec le monde. Il explore la façon dont les langues donnent une ouverture sur diverses réalités et occasions, permettant de découvrir et d'acquérir de nouvelles connaissances.

Pour célébrer la Journée des langues officielles, des activités sont organisées par le ''Conseil du Réseau des champions des langues officielles'', le ''Réseau de la dualité linguistique'', en collaboration avec ''l'école de la fonction publique du Canada'', le ''Bureau de la traduction,'' le ''Commissariat aux langues officielles'' ainsi que d'autres partenaires.
