L'inspiration pour le #GCPanelPledge vient principalement de Chief Executive Women, Male Champions of Change et de Women’s Leadership Institute Australia - trois organisations qui font un travail important pour augmenter la représentation des femmes dans des rôles de leadership en Australie. Depuis lors, le Panel Pledge s'est développé et est connu sous différents noms à travers le monde.<br><br />

Les organisations notables qui ont pris un engagement de groupe ou qui se sont engagées à respecter ses principes incluent les National Institutes of Health des États-Unis, le Pacte mondial des Nations Unies, l'International Gender Champions, Champions for Change, Borrowell Inc., et plus encore!<br><br />

N'importe qui! Les hommes qui s'engagent peuvent s'engager à ne pas assister à des événements sans la présence de femmes. Les femmes peuvent s'engager à ne pas assister aux événements avec uniquement des orateurs masculins. Les organisations peuvent s'engager à ne pas organiser de forums sans la participation et les orateurs féminins.<br><br />
