Updates

PCO

  • Let us know if you have any web work that you want to highlight with others, we love to see your good work
  • We think it will be a very busy fall
  • If you think you will need new vanity urls, try to give us a heads up ahead of time

DTO

  • We’re working on guidance for campaigns, we realize that the current guidance is out of date.We have a working group looking at this together.

August update:

RCMP

Question about name field for forms, are there best practices, number of characters, special characters etc…any other criteria?

PSPC

  • Public land bank site launched last week. Still issues with the application itself - program working directly with the 3rd party vendor (the application doesn't work on mobile)
  • Migrating additional content to AEM this week and next (air, land, marine defence) - will be reaching out to DND to update links
  • On the positive side for Public lands, we were able to integrate the look from the overall GC housing strategy for the pillar we are supporting and were able to at least add some user-experience best practices. Considering how many people were involved, this is a win for us.
  • We did this using components - not freestyle, using AEM.
  • Public lands for homes - Canada.ca

TBS

  • We're doing some testing with SSC and Userlytics to find out why some departments have network issues accessing our studies.
  • I'm hoping to find someone who was blocked from our DRR survey, to perhaps join us so we can see what might be happening in the back-end
  • If anyone's interested in what we find out, let me know and I'll keep you posted: [[1]]
