Description: What skills do you really need to work in Artificial Intelligence—today and tomorrow? This interactive panel brings together professionals from across the Government of Canada to discuss the technical, analytical, and human skills that are shaping AI‑enabled roles. Panelists will share real examples of how AI capabilities are used on the job, how they developed them, and what hiring managers are looking for as AI literacy continues to evolve within the public service.

| Launching a career in AI
Description: There is no single path into an AI career—especially in the public service. This session demystifies how people from diverse backgrounds have entered AI‑related roles across policy analysis, service delivery, user experience, program operations and digital functions. Participants will gain practical advice on résumés, learning pathways, networking, and career mobility.

| Ethical considerations for AI in the workplace and service delivery
Description: AI adoption brings significant responsibility—particularly in the public sector workplaces and service delivery across Canada ensures ethical and safe considerations. This session explores ethical considerations such as bias, privacy, transparency, and accountability through real‑world case studies from government and industry. Participants will examine how ethical principles are applied in practice and what responsible AI looks like in everyday workplace decisions and across Canada’s service delivery. The session will look at the public services shared responsibility to ensure AI systems are deployed in ways that align with Canadian values and public-sector obligations.
