Hello, I'm Alex, a librarian with the Jules Léger Library at Global Affairs Canada.

I've worked in a variety of library and research environments supporting public and academic communities, hospital staff and patients and their families, and public servants.

I’m passionate about connecting people to the key resources they need and coordinating educational opportunities using active learning and hands-on approaches. Outside of work, I'm into fiber art (knitting, weaving ,spinning), farming, photography, creative writing, coding, and being outdoors.

I hold an undergraduate degree in Cultural Studies, English, and Sociology from Mount Saint Vincent University and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Western University. <br>

I am currently a Senior Librarian of Knowledge Resources at Global Affairs Canada.

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Alex et je suis une bibliothécaire et une spécialiste en recherche avec la Bibliothèque Jules Léger d'Affaires mondiales Canada.

<span style="font-size: 13px">J'ai travaillé dans une variété de bibliothèques et d'environnements de recherche qui soutiennent les communautés publiques et universitaires, le personnel hospitalier et les patients et leurs familles, ainsi que les fonctionnaires.</span>
