May 31, 2023 1:00 - 4:15 p.m. (EST) Start Your Term with GC Students GC Students and The Federal Youth Network (FYN) are pleased to invite you to the 2023 Summer Start Term event that brings together all Government of Canada (GoC) students. This session, entitled "Start Your Term With GC Students", will inform you about onboarding tools, your employment conditions and the multitude of resources to take advantage of your student contract, such as networking. June 14, 2023 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. (EST) EOSD Summer Welcome Event EOSD Welcoming Event

An opening event for all EOSD participants. Students will receive an overview of planned events and learn about the mentoring program and post-graduate employment opportunities. The event will include a keynote speech from the Deputy Minister Champion for Federal Employees with Disabilities, Tina Namiesniowski. You will also get the opportunity to hear a testimonial from Mégan Le Stum about their experience in the EOSD program.

July 11, 2023 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. (EST) Mentorship Session: Panel Discussion on Navigating the Conversation on Accommodations This event will include three EOSD mentors answering questions in a panel discussion format. Discussions will focus on understanding the Duty to Accommodate and the workplace accommodation process, most common types of accommodations and how they can help and tips and tricks for requesting accommodations and speaking to your manager. July 25, 2023 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. (EST) Mentorship Session: One-on-One Speed Matching This event will use breakout rooms to match students with mentors, who are current public servants with lived experience having a disability, in smaller group sessions.
