About FIPP

  • Provides a forum for federal officials to collectively address horizontal considerations that relate to IP
  • Share IP information among members—best practices, data analytics, trends and approaches to IP
  • Assist in advising federal senior officials on IP issues and best practices that were considered by the FIPP
  • Improve the IP savviness and professional development of federal officials
  • Increase consistency of IP frameworks and approaches to maximizing the use of IP across the federal government

Who may participate?

Since IP issues arise in government at all levels and in various situations, membership is open to all federal public servants, including senior management, IP management staff and program staff that have IP considerations/issues.
