About FIPP

  • Provide a forum for federal officials to collectively discuss horizontal considerations that relate to IP
  • Share IP information among members—best practices, data analytics, trends and approaches to IP within federal organizations
  • Assist in advising senior management at federal organizations on IP issues and best practices that were considered by the FIPP
  • Improve the IP savviness and professional development of federal officials, including those who interact with the public, as well as promote the benefits of IP through the government
  • Increase consistency of IP frameworks and approaches and maximize the benefits of IP from federal activities
