This project will use where possible the Agile methodology, following the TC Project Management Office Framework 4 Gate model. TC Azure Cloud foundation build activities and planning for the migration of applications into the Cloud are on track. Overall the project is behind schedule due to the delay of secure network connectivity (Cloud to Ground SCED connection) and/or authentication services (Active Directory - AD); this work is expected to be delivered by SSC. TC's Cloud Foundational Environment (Azure) has been granted "Authority to Operate" (ATO) (up to Protected-B) for applications not requiring secure network connectivity and/or authentication. In order to execute and to validate the migration process, a list of unclassified applications for migration to the Cloud has been created. Phase 3 of the project (define the migration process and migrate first set of applications) has started to migrate unclassified applications identified in Sprint #1. The presentation to GC-EARB for Application Modernization and Cloud Enablement has been approved by TBS. The resulting MOU for funding has been approved and signed by TBS and TC.

This project is using Agile methodology and following the TC Project Management Framework 4 Gate Model. Overall, the project is behind schedule because SCED (Secure Cloud Enablement & Defence), required for applications that need secure connectivity, has not yet been delivered by SSC. The SCED Readiness Request has been submitted to TBS and SSC and a decision is pending. TC3oE is working with Solutions Centre, SSC, and Hitachi to secure resourcing for the Cloud migration work.
